1. Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel on instructions informs the Court Order No.
that the Petitioner is prepared to pay the current market value for the land in question, which forms the subject matter of the prayer clause in the writ petition. Mr. Pattnaik, learned counsel appearing for the IDCO states that if the Petitioner makes a representation to that effect it will be considered in accordance with the extant Rules and polices of IDCO and a decision thereon will be communicated to the Petitioner in a time-bound manner.
2. It is accordingly directed that if the Petitioner makes a representation to IDCO not later than 21st March, 2022 making the above offer, it will then be considered by IDCO and a decision thereon shall be communicated to the Petitioner not later than 25th April, 2022. If IDCO accepts the offer and gives a time-bound direction for deposit of the market value, it will be made clear that
if the Petitioner fails to comply with the direction, it is liable for eviction in accordance with law. No further directions call for in the petition.
3. The writ petition is disposed of.
