ORDER

1. This is a writ petition by the workman challenging an office order dated 17th March, 2005 issued by the Opposite Party (GRIDCO) whereby it decided to cancel the order issued earlier by implementation of the aforementioned Award dated 28th October, 2003 of the Labour Court. With this Court having upheld the said Award, the impugned office order dated 17th March, 2005 cannot be sustained and is hereby set aside.

2. The financial benefits owed to the Petitioner, who has now superannuated, will be calculated and appropriate orders shall be issued for payment of arrears in terms of the Award dated 28th October, 2003 of the Labour Court within a period of eight weeks from today.
