This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.1597 of 2021, on the files of learned S.D.J.M., Angul arising out of Angul P.S. Case No.586 of 2021, under Sections 420/379/506 of IPC and is in custody since 04.02.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Vigilance), Angul, by order dated 23.02.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations and punishment prescribed, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in

seisin over the matter. Taking into account the nature of allegation it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the local Police Station once every 15 days till the submission of charge sheet. 6.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
