This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Mr. Samantaray submits that the directions dated 20th December, 2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.26096 of in respect of removal of unauthorized encroachments of Gochar land to the extent of 11.00 acres in Mouza Nuapada, DistrictKhurda has been duly complied with inasmuch as the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Khurda had directed the Tahasildar concerned to take steps for removal of the encroachments vide an order dated 12th June, 2020. He further states that except two encroachers, rest of the encroachers have been evicted and proceedings against the said two under the Orissa Prevention of Land Encroachment Act, 1972 have been initiated.

In view of the above, we find there is no willful disobedience of the order requiring continuance of the present contempt petition.

In view of the above, the CONTC is accordingly disposed of.
