This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

2. Assailing order dated 7th May, 2015 of the Central Administraive Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack passed in O.A. No.705 of 2013 whereby the claim of the petitioner, S/o-Late Dharmananda Lenka, for employment on compassionate grounds on account of death of his father on 6th June, 2009 while working as Extra-Departmental Packer, Borikina Sub Post Office has been rejected and consequentially the Original Application was dismissed, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing Writ Petition.

3. This Court vide order dated 6th December, 2017 issued notice to the opposite parties.

4. When the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this

// 2 // Court that a memo seeking permission to withdraw the Writ Petition has been filed on 25.08.2022. The said memo is taken on record.

5. In view of the aforesaid memo, the Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed as withdrawn.
