This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

On 17.04.2015 a motion was made on behalf of the petitioner for substitution.

None appeared on 27.08.2020 & 21.10.2020 when the matter was called. There is no appearance today. 4.

The writ petition was filed claiming scale of Rs.2800-4350/- per month with effect from the date of the promotion of the petitioner as an Internal Audit Officer w.e.f. 23.07.1992. In paragraph-8 of the counter affidavit, the opposite parties have stated thus.

"8. That the pay of the petitioner in the revised scale of pay w.e.f. 1.01.1996 as per the O.R.S.P. Rule, 1998 has been fixed at Rs.8,275/- by the office order No. 1204 dtd. 24.09.1999, a copy of which is filed

herewith as Annexure-A. The petitioner retired from service on 31.05.1999. Therefore, under Annexure-4 dtd. 6.04.1999, the pay of the petitioner in the post of Asst. Audit Officer was fixed at Rs.2,240/- w.e.f. 1.05.1989 in the scale of 2000-3500/-. However, in the meantime, the service book has been updated and the pay revision in the post of Internal Audit Officer in the scale of Rs.2,200-4,000/- has been fixed w.e.f. 23.07.1992 and his pay is also been revised w.e.f. 1.01.1996 in the scale of Rs.8,800/- to Rs.13,500/- till the date of his retirement on 31.05.1999 and all his arrear dues have been disbursed to him. The order dtd. 18.11.1999 granting annual increments as on 1.07.1996, 1.07.1997 and 1.07.1998 is also filed herewith as Annexure-B."

In view of the same this Court does not find any merit in the present writ petition.
