ORDER
29.11.2022 I.A. No.261 of 2022 Order No.
11.
1.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2.
By means of this application, the applicant has urged for modification of the mode as regards the payment of the permanent alimony.
3.
We had directed by the order dated 02.08.2022 [in MATA No.57 of 2019, now disposed of] that the lump-sum amount to the extent of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs) be paid in the form of term deposit in favour of the son of the parties, namely, Omkar Asutosh within a period of three months from the day of the order and the instrument shall be submitted to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. Since there are some technical issues impeding in obtaining the term deposit, we modify the said direction as follows:
The payment of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs) be made by a demand draft in the name of their son, namely, Omkar Asutosh. The demand draft shall be submitted to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court for handing over the same to their son, who has attained majority by 5th December, 2022. 4.
Thus, this application for modification is allowed and disposed of.
5.
It is needless to reiterate that, the demand draft may be accepted by the Respondent, if, for any reason, their son cannot appear for accepting the demand draft from the Registrar (Judicial).
6.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
