Heard Mr. S.K. Sarnagi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that this matter is covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Niranjan Sethi v. State of Odisha and others (W.P.(C) No. 9916 of 2020 disposed of 20.09.2022) and this case may be disposed of in terms of the ratio decided in the said judgment.

Mr. B. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department does not dispute such contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after going through the record, in view of the detailed judgment passed in the case of Niranjan Sethi (supra), this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the said judgment and accordingly the impugned order is quashed and the opposite parties are directed to treat the petitioner as being in service all through with all consequential service benefits.
