Heard Mr. D.K. Patra on behalf of Mr. G. Mishra, learned Senior Counsel for the insurer - Appellant and Mr. B.B. Singh, learned counsel for claimant - Respondents 1 & 2. 2.
The present appeal by the insurer is against the impugned judgment dated 29th January, 2021 of the learned MACT-V, Balasore in MAC No.09 of 2019 wherein compensation to the tune of Rs.9,06,000/- along with interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application, i.e. 24th October, 2016 has been granted in favour of the claimants on account of death of the deceased in the motor vehicular accident dated 28th November, 2015. 3.
In course of hearing both parties submit on agreement to reduce the compensation amount to Rs.8,40,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of claim application.

Accordingly, the insurer - Appellant is directed to deposit the agreed reduced compensation amount of Rs.8,40,000/- (eight lakh forty thousand) before the learned tribunal along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application, i.e. 24th October, 2016 within a period of two months from today, where-after the same shall be disbursed in favour of the claimants on the same terms and proportion as directed by the learned Tribunal in the impugned judgment.

The statutory deposit made by the appellant before this court along with accrued interest be refunded to the Appellant - insurer on proper application and on production of proof of deposit of the awarded amount before the tribunal.

The appeal is disposed of.
