This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Vigilance Department.

The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No. 32 of 2021 corresponding to VGR No. 19 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, for commission of offence under Sections 468/470/471/420/120-B of the I.P.C. read with Sections 13(2) & 13(1)(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 4.

Taking into account the allegations which are merely based on documentary evidence, this Court directs that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned court in seisin over the matter on such terms as deemed just and proper. It is

needless to state that petitioner shall cooperative with the investigation.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL is disposed of.
