The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) direct the opposite party No.3 to forthwith consider for payment of gratuity under the principle of Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 in accordance with the order of the Govt. under Annexure-4 along with interest and as has been extended to Sakha Bhoi similar situated employee in same manner".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 28.12.2021 at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition, before the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological park, Khurda, (opposite party No.3) but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.3

// 2 // to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
