This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in C.T. Case No.424 of 2022, on the files of learned J.M.F.C. Jajpur Road, arising out of Panikoili P.S. Case No.77 of 2022, under Sections 376/420/328/506 of IPC and is in custody since 09.04.2022.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Jajpur Road, by order dated 21.04.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim which is placed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner is in custody since 09.04.2022 trial has not commenced. Taking note of the same, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till the conclusion of trial.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
