Heard Mr.B.K.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.K.Mohanty, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

According to Mr.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities more particularly Sub-Collector and Licensing Authority, Jagatsinghpur (opposite party No.3) in renewing his license for which an application was filed on 2.4.2022 under Annexure-2. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted application under Annexure-2 for renewal of the license within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Sub-Collector and Licensing Authority, Jagatsinghpur (opposite party No.3) to take a decision on the above noted application under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
