The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue notice to the opp.parties and after hearing allow the writ application by directing the opposite parties to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of Pump Driver DLR high skilled employee and extend all such service and financial benefits within a stipulated time by taking a decision on the representation dated 12.04.2021 under Annexure-4 in view of the ratio decided in para".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 12.04.2021 at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, before the Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, Bhubaneswar, (opposite party No.1) but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to

// 2 // opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
