Heard Mr.Nayak, learned counsel for the Appellants and Mr.Mohanty, learned counsel for Respondent No.2. 2.

The present appeal by the claimants is for enhancement of the compensation amount granted by the learned 1st MACT, Kendrapara in M.A.C.No.42 of 2017 vide judgement dated 18th February, 2020. In the said award, compensation of Rs.3,56,000/- has been granted in favour of the claimant.

In course of hearing, a further consolidated sum of Rs.35,000/- (thirty five thousand) is proposed to the parties. This is agreed by Mr.Nayak, learned counsel for the Appellant and Mr.Mohanty, learned counsel for the Insurer leaves it to the discretion of the Court.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the Insurer-Respondent No.2 to pay a further consolidated sum

of Rs.35,000/- to the claimants-Appellants within a period of eight weeks from today by depositing the same before the learned Tribunal. The Tribunal is at liberty to decide the proportion to be paid to the claimants.
