2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue rule NISI, calling upon Opp.Parties to show cause as to why the petitioner shall not be granted 1st RACP with GP of Rs.4,200/- and 2nd RACP with GP of Rs.4,600/- on completion of 10 and 20 years of service respectively and to revise his pay accordingly as have been granted to other similarly situated persons of other districts".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 22.12.2021 at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition, before the Collector, Gajapati, (opposite party No.3) but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to

// 2 // opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
