2. Pratap Singh ....
Petitioners Mr.A. Mishra, Advocate -versusState of Odisha ....
Opp. Party Mr.Arupananda Das, Addl. Government Advocate
CORAM:
JUSTICE S.K. SAHOO Order No.
ORDER
28.09.2022 03.
This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). It appears that the earlier bail application of the petitioners in BLAPL No.3353 of 2021 was rejected as per order dated 04.10.2021 and the learned trial Court was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of framing of charge and liberty was granted to the petitioners to renew their prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period.
Status report was called for as per order dated 26.08.2022 and the learned trial Court has furnished the same vide letter dated 16.09.2022 from which it appears that no charge has been framed and the case is posted for
// 2 // supply of police paper.
Therefore, the stage has not come as per the order passed in the earlier application to consider the bail application afresh.
Considering the same, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands dismissed.
