On oral prayer, learned counsel for the Petitioner is permitted to implead State of Odisha, represented through its Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar as Opposite Party No.4 to the writ petition in Court.

The Petitioner in this writ petition has prayed for a direction to the Commissioner Land Records and Settlement, Odisha, Cuttack -Opposite Party No.1 for early disposal of R.P. Case No.449 of 2020.

Mr. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the matter has not yet been considered and notice has not been issued to the opposite parties therein. He, therefore, submits that a direction may be issued to Commissioner, Land
// 2 // Records and Settlement, Odisha, Cuttack to take up the matter for issuance of notice to the opposite parties. 5.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files a memorandum within a period of two weeks hence along with certified copy of this order before Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, Odisha, Cuttack for consideration of the aforesaid RP Case No. 449 of 2020 for issuance of notice to the opposite parties, he shall do well to accept the same and make an endeavour for consideration of issuance of notice to Opposite Parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing such memorandum, if the matter is otherwise ready and there is no legal impediment.
Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
