1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

Pursuant to order dated 26th July, 2022, the Registrar (Judicial) has informed that the matter was placed before this Court in the administrative side and necessary instructions have been issued to all the District Judges to ensure that the accused or his agents do not have access to the case diaries of the investigating officer or obtain copies of the same from the case record of the Court.

3. The I.G. of Police, CID, CB, Odisha, Cuttack has also informed vide letter dtd.19th August, 2022 that on the same day as per observations made by this Court, several instructions

// 2 // have been imparted to all the Police Officers including the I.I.C.s/I.Os., Courts Sub-Inspectors of the State for strict compliance of Clause (3) of Section 172 of Cr.P.C. while dealing with the case diary. Copy of such letter is available on record.

4. In such view of the matter, there is no necessity of keeping the matter pending any further, which is therefore, disposed of as closed.
