Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

This is successive bail application filed by the petitioner, his earlier bail application being rejected by this Court vide order passed in BLAPL No. 9179 of 2021. I find no change in circumstances so as to persuade me to take a different view than what was taken earlier. The bail application is therefore, rejected. 4.

However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 2021 and trial is yet to commence learned Court below is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a period of eight months. 5.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
