Heard learned for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 11.02.2022 in connection with Economics Offence Wing P.S. Case No. 4 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 867 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 402 of IPC read with Section 66(D) of I.T. Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner in association with others induced the informant to give his bank details, utilizing which he is said to have taken away Rs.30,000/- from the account of the

petitioner.

Taking into consideration the above fact, the fact that one of the co-accused namely, Anand Kumar Bhagat has already been released on bail as per order passed by this Court in BLAPL No. 3339 of 2022, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall furnish cash security of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand) in the shape of short term fixed deposit in any nationalized bank. The said deposit shall be without prejudice to the rival claims of the parties. 6.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
