1. The Petitioners are aggrieved that three plots, i.e. Plot No.1722, measuring Ac.0.354 decimals, Plot No.1723, measuring Ac.0.069 decimals and Plot No.1724, measuring Ac.0.351 decimals aggregated to Ac.0.690 decimals in Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar which is earmarked for play ground in the master plan has been allotted to the Orissa State Housing Board for implementation of 'social housing scheme'. On 19th April, 2021, this Court had passed an order directing the Government to file an affidavit not later than 17th May, 2021 enclosing the photographs to show the current status of the land in question.

Pursuant to that an affidavit has been filed by OP Nos.1 and 2 stating that in the comprehensive development plan prepared for the year 2010, the said three plots have been assigned for 'play ground'. Right now the said land is lying vacant with a compound wall. Photograph showing the vacant land has been enclosed with the affidavit. Since the land is, as of today, vacant and has not been used for any social housing scheme, there
// 2 // appears to be no basis for the apprehension expressed by the Petitioners. Needless to state that if the use of the land is to be converted from play ground to any other purpose, the applicable procedure will be followed by the authorities.
