The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue Rule Nisi calling upon the Opp.Parties more particularly the Opp.Party No.4 i.e. the Secretary, Berhampur Co-operative Central Bank Ltd., Ganjam to why a writ in the nature of mandamus shall not be issued and be further pleased to direct the said Opp.Party No.4 to release the gratuity and other retirement dues of the Petitioner".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 04.03.2022 at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, before the Secretary, Berhampur Co-operative Central Bank Ltd., Berhampur (opposite party No.4) but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
