This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

In the present contempt, the petitioner alleges that the directions passed by this Court on 10th September, 2020 in W.P.(C) No.4895 of 2020 have been complied with.

Upon notice, an affidavit dated 20th April, 2022 of Sarada Kanti Dalai, Special Land Acquisition Officer, NALCO, District-Angul has been filed, wherein it is stated that the land in question comprising an area of Ac.3.74 decimals was acquired way back on 31st May, 1982 and the payment of compensation was made on 17th August, 1985 to all the co-sharers of the aforesaid acquired land. It is

// 2 // further stated that as per the R & R Policy, 1984 one of the eligible persons, i.e., co-sharer was provided employment by NALCO. The petitioner being a minor at the time of acquisition in the year 1982 was not entitled for any type of rehabilitation under the said policy. However his name has been recommended to NALCO for providing a contractual job vide letter dated 7th January, 2019.

In view of the above, we find that the orders passed by this Court have been complied with and there is no willful disobedience.
