1. Heard Mr. R.K. Sarangi, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Miss S. Mishra, learned A.S.C. for the State-Opposite Party.

2. The Petitioner is the accused in 2(a)CC No.41/2022 for alleged commission of offence under Sec.52(a) of the Odisha Excise Act.

3. Upon hearing both the parties, I do not see any merit in the petition and as such the prayer is rejected.

4. However, as submitted by the Petitioner, he is at liberty to surrender before the concerned court. In the event the Petitioner surrenders in the concerned court within a period of four weeks from today and prays for bail, his prayer for bail shall be considered in accordance with law on the same day.

5. The CRLMC is disposed of.

6. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
