1. This matter is taken up through Virtual/Physical Mode.

2. The present contempt has been filed for the purported disobedience of the order dated 11.12.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.20083 of 2017, whereby a direction was issued to consider the application of the petitioner for conversion of the land in question from leasehold to freehold as per the prevailing policy.

3. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner realizing that no contempt proceeding would be made out, does not press the contempt petition.

4. In view of the above, the contempt proceedings are dropped and accordingly the CONTC is dismissed.
