Heard Mr. A.K. Moharana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Nanda, Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Moharana, the petitioner is aggrieved by non-registration of her F.I.R., i.e., Infocity P.S. Case No.124 of 2022 under appropriate provisions of law. According to him, the F.I.R. should also have been registered for commission of offences under Sections 468/471/201, I.P.C. I the facts and circumstances of the case. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) by filing a grievance petition and further prays that necessary direction be given to the opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the said grievance petition within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Deputy

// 2 // Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks. In the event such grievance petition is received by opposite party no.2, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
