The petitioner stood convicted under Sections 307/324, I.P.C. by the learned C.J.M.-cum-Assistant Sessions Judge, Jagatsinghur in Sessions Trial Case No.191 of 2007 dated 09.05.2016 and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,000/- (rupees five thousand) and in default rigorous imprisonment for six months for the offence under Section 307, I.P.C. and rigorous imprisonment for six month for the offence under Section 307, I.P.C and rigorous imprisonment for one year for the offence under Section 324, I.P.C. Both the sentences will run concurrently. The said conviction and sentence is confirmed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jagatsinghpur in Criminal Appeal No.2 of 2009. The said conviction and sentence has been assailed in this criminal revision.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the petitioner on surrender before the learned court in seisin over the matter shall be released on interim bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (rupees thirty thousand) with one local solvent surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned court in seisin over the matter subject to conditions that the petitioners shall not be involved in any offence of similar nature and he shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or try to threaten or influence the witnesses in any manner whatsoever . Violation of any of the terms and conditions shall entail cancellation of interim bail.

The Interim Application is accordingly disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
