This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in S.T. Case No.23 of 2022, on the files of learned Sessions Judge, Sambalpur, arising out of Ainthapali P.S.

Case No.471 of 2021, under Sections 147/148/302/149 of IPC and is in custody since 13.09.2021. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Sambalpur, by order dated 12.04.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Considering the statement of one of the witnesses Sameer Sagar and taking note of the number of injuries suffered by the deceased and the manner in which the assault has taken place and

the role ascribed to the present petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage. The same stands rejected.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
