This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:
" It is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the case, call for the records and after hearing both the parties pass the following relief:
i) To direct the Opposite Parties to promote the petition to the rank of Odisha Revenue Service Group B (Junior Branch) with effect from 29.12.2021.
ii) To direct the Opposite Parties to grant all financial and consequential service benefits flowing from the date of promotion.
And pass such other order/orders as would be deem fit and proper.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that ventilating his grievance, the Petitioner has filed a detailed representation before the Principal Secretary, Revenue ad Disaster
// 2 // Management Department, Opposite Party No.1 on 15.03.2022 under Annexure-7. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the said representation is pending as of now. 5.
Learned Additional Government Advocate on the other hand submits that he has no objection if the representation of the Petitioner is considered by the Opposite Party No.1 which is stated to be pending within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law. 6.
Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party no.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.1 shall do well to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner, shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
