This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to non-acceptance of the rent by the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar in respect of Plot No.1791/1899 (Plot No.540/1791) to an extent of Ac.0.100 decimals under Khata No.537 situated in mouza Patharagadia under Bhubaneswar Tahasil in the district of Khurda (for short 'the case land').

Mr. Behera, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that although the Petitioner purchased the case land from the recorded tenant by virtue of a registered sale deed and filed a petition for mutation, the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar is not accepting the rent in respect of the case land.

From the submission of Mr. Behera, learned counsel for the Petitioner, it is apparent that R.O.R. in respect of the case land does not stand in the name of the Petitioner. In

// 2 // that view of the matter, the rent in respect of the case land cannot be accepted from the Petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
