ORDER
22.06.2022 Order No.
02.
1.
This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.
2.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
3.
The petitioners have filed this writ petition assailing inaction of the authority in the matter of convening of meeting of the Selection Committee for selection of Anganwadi Worker for Kasimpur Anganwadi Centre consequential to advertisement No.509 dated 11.09.2018. 4.
It is on record that the petitioners had approached this Court in W.P. (C) No. 87 of 2020 challenging the illegal and arbitrary selection of Anganwadi Worker in respect of Kasimpur Anganwadi Centre under ICDS Project, Dhamanagar Block in the district of Bhadrak and by order dated 10.01.2020 this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to ventilate her grievance before the appellate authority and
accordingly the petitioner filed misc. case before the statutory authority which was registered as Anganwadi Misc. Case No. 1 of 2020 and by order dated 25.02.2021 the appellate authority passed the following order, which reads thus. "Considering the above facts and circumstances CDPO, Dhamnagar is directed to convene the Anganwadi Worker selection Committee meeting afresh for Kashimpur Anganwadi Centre taking into account the applications submitted by 27.09.2018 as per Advertisement No. 509 dated 11.09.2018 to verify the genuineness of the averments made by the petitioner."
5.
The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition as noted above is non-implementation of the order of the appellate authority extracted herein above. 6.
By order dated 16.05.2022 this Court had directed the learned State Counsel to obtain the reasons for not holding the meeting from the Sub-Collector and ADM, Bhadrak as well as CDPO, ICDS, Project, Dhamanagar.
7.
Learned counsel for the State submits that in spite of communication he has not received any instruction 8.
Be that as it may, since the dispute falls within a narrow compass, this Court directs that in terms of the order of the appellate authority dated 25.02.2021 extracted herein above, the CDPO, ICDS Project, Dhamanagar (O.P.No.2) shall convene the meeting of the Selection Committee for
selection of Anganwadi worker for Kasimpur Anganwadi Centre within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of the certified copy of this order.
9.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. ( V.Narasingh ) Dhal Judge
