Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel opposite Party.

Instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner praying for quashing of the criminal proceeding in ICC No.227 of 2011 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur on the grounds stated therein.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court by order dated 12th August, 2022 directed the petitioner for payment of Rs.2,50,000/- to the complainant towards full and final settlement of the matter, in compliance thereof, a cheque is produced today in the Court the same is handed over to learned counsel appearing for the opposite party which is accompanied with attested copies of the original Aadhar card vis-à-vis-parties. The learned counsel for the opposite party is directed to accept the cheque of Rs.2.50,000/- on behalf of complainant pursuant to order dated 12th August, 2022 passed by this Court and consequent upon such acceptance of the amount as agreed upon,

// 2 // the petitioner and opposite party stated to have entered into a compromise ensuring disposal of the proceeding in the terms thereof.

Accordingly, the CRLMC stands allowed. Consequently, the criminal proceeding pending before the court of learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur in ICC Case No.227 of 2011 stands hereby quashed.
