This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.

2. The writ petition has been filed before this Court with the following prayer :

(i) Why the Opp. Party No.1 shall not be directed to amend or modify its letter No.HE-UE-Policy-0013-2021, 37688/HE, Dated 18.9.2021, vide Annexure-1, thereby incorporating some provision to protect the existing employees/staff of University Hotels, within a time frame; and (ii) Why the Opp. Party No.2 shall not be directed not to handover the operation of the Hostels to out-sourcing agency till, the amendment or modification of Annexure-1 is undertaken by the Opp. Party No.1.

3. On being pointedly asked, learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the petitioners, as per his instruction, have not approached the appropriate authority for any change of the policy as per letter dated 18.9.2021 (Annexure-1).

4. It is further submitted that the petitioner shall have to approach the appropriate authority for redressal of their

// 2 // grievance and the writ petition may be permitted to withdrawn with aforesaid liberty.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned ASC for O.P. No.1, in view of the limited nature of prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission without issuing notice to O.P. No.2.

6. Petitioner, if so advised, shall make representation before the appropriate authority for redressal of their grievance which shall be considered in accordance with law.

7. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case in any manner whatsoever. (M.S.Sahoo) Judge dutta
