Sanjulata Panda v. State Of Orissa
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
W.A. No.310 of 2016 Sanjulata Panda ....
Appellant Mr. B. Satapathy, Advocate -versusState of Odisha and others ....
Respondents Mr. Ishwar Mohanty, ASC
CORAM:
THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH Order No.
ORDER
10.10.2022 05.
1. The grievance before the learned Single Judge was that certain areas are to have been included in the Anganwadi Center of Godipokhari in which the Appellant was seeking appointment as Anganwadi Worker (AWW).
2. Reliance has placed on a letter dated 5th August, 2015 written by the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Dhamnagar to the Additional District Magistrate, Bhadrak in this respect.
3. As rightly pointed out by the learned Single Judge, the said letter of the CDPO is not binding on the ADM. In any event, how many areas should be included within the Anganwadi Center is clearly a policy decision with which the learned Single Judge could not have interfered with. Consequently, the Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order of the learned Single Judge. The writ appeal is dismissed.
