Heard Mr. Ipsit Acharya, learned Counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. T. Pattnaik, learned Addl. Standing Counsel appearing for the State-Opposite Parties.

Against the Notice dated 29.03.2018 vide Annexure-1 under Rule-12(10) of the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydrocarbon Energy Minerals) Rules, 2016, demanding Rs.223,57,04,276/-, the Petitioners have approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

Mr. Ipsit Acharya, learned Counsel for the Petitioners contended that during pendency of the Writ Petition, the Petitioners have already deposited Rs.270,46,53,370/-. Therefore, the Petitioners do not want to press this Writ Petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if any cause of action still survives. 5.

In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as not pressed with liberty aforesaid. Ashok/Padma (DR. B.R. SARANGI) JUDGE (S.K. MISHRA) JUDGE
