This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/ Physical Mode).

Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner is an accused in connection with C.T. Case No.62 of 2018 corresponding to Mathili P.S. Case No. 60 of 2017 on the file of learned Sessions Judge, Malkangiri, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Section 302 of the I.P.C. 4.
Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Malkangiri by order dated 7.04.2021, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
Taking note of the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that 14 witnesses have been examined and 7 more witnesses are to be examined, this Court calls upon the learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

It is open for the Petitioner to renew his prayer, if the trial is not concluded within the time specified and the delay is not attributable to the Petitioner.

Accordingly, the BLAPL is disposed of.
