2. None appears for the Petitioner on repeated calls.

3. In the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner has prayed to direct Opposite Parties to accept Representation dated 04.05.2018 for voluntary retirement, so also the undertaking dated 04.05.2018 in terms of Rule 48 of CRPF Rule 1955 and issue Discharge Certificate in his favour as per the said Rules.

4. Mr. P. P. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate along with Mr. P. K. Parhi, ASGI makes a

// 2 // submission that during pendency of the present Writ Petitioner, the Representation of the Petitioner was allowed and he was permitted to take voluntary retirement and accordingly, the Writ Petition has become infructious.
