This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction to the Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPC)-Opposite Party No.3 to continue power supply to the residence of Petitioner from its generating station without insisting upon applying to TPCODL for power connection.

When the matter was taken up on 29th August, 2022, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the issue involved in this writ petition is similar to the cause of action pending before Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 21456 of 2022. Today, Ms. Moharana, learned counsel appearing for OHPC submits that W.P.(C) No.21456 of 2022 has already been disposed of vide order dated 2nd September, 2022 with the following findings:

" 7. Consequently, the Court finds no error having been committed in the impugned order requiring the

// 2 // Petitioner to apply to the TPCODL for a connection and for further direction to the OHPC to provide the necessary no objection certificate (NOC) for facilitating the exercise. The impugned order itself notes that the entire exercise should be completed by 30th September, 2022 and till such time, no coercive action would be taken against the Petitioner. 8.

The Court is not inclined to add anything further to those directions. Consequently, the Court finds no merit in the present petition and it is dismissed as such."

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition, as submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed in W.P.(C) No.21456 of 2022. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
