Heard Mr. B.R. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M.S. Rizvi, learned Standing Counsel for the Vigilance Department.

The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Special G.R. Case No. 06 of 2022, arising out of Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No. 10 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Balangir for the alleged commission of offence punishable under Sections409/467/468/420/120-B of the I.P.C. read with Section13(2)r/w/13(1)(a) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act.

Considering the submission and on going through the materials as placed as well as nature of accusations; further keeping in view the surrounding circumstances and in the absence of any such other impediment; it is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in connection with Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No. 10 of 2022 Corresponding to Special G.R. Case No. 06 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Balangir, he shall be released on bail by the Arresting Officer on such terms and conditions as the Arresting Officer may deem just and proper with further conditions that he will cooperate with the investigation as and when required for the purpose and will not tamper the evidence. The petitioner is hereby directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 27th June, 2022 in between 10.00 A.M to 2.00 P.M and on such other date/s as asked for in order to cooperate with the investigation. 5.
Violation of any of the above condition(s) shall entail cancellation of bail.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
