This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Berhampur P.S. Case No.4 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No.36 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Nilgiri for alleged commission of offence under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the F.I.R.

In pursuance of the order dated 13.07.2022, the learned counsel for the petitioner has filed the first information report lodged by the petitioner against the deceased and his family members.

After hearing the learned counsel for both the
