1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. In this Writ Petition, the petitioner has challenged the action of the opposite parties in not sanctioning his Annual Periodical Increments as admissible under the provisions of the Orissa Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 2008 and in not sanctioning the leave taken by him to the extent of 86 days on different occasions on the ground of his ailments.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the leave application of the petitioner resolved to have been admitted by the opposite party No.4-Headmaster, Panchayat High School, Chandrapur, the opposite party No.3- District Education Officer, Kendrapara has not yet approved the said leave of the petitioner and he has yet to decide the issue of approval of leave.

5. In such view of the matter, let the opposite party No.3- District Education Officer, Kendrapara decide the resolution passed on 08.07.2021 by the opposite party No.4-Headmaster, Panchayat High School, Chandrapur. It is imperative that the opposite party No.3- District Education Officer, Kendrapara shall decide the

// 2 // issue of approval of leave of the petitioner on merit within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
