1.This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner was working as Sub-Inspector of Schools of Satyabadi East Education Sub-Circle (Stayabadi Block) of Puri. He was faced an order of transfer passed by the C.I. of Schools (Puri) on 02.12.1998. Because of some transfer difficulties to join at Puri he approached the Hon'ble Tribunal vide O.A. No. 375 (C) of 2000 praying for quashing of the impugned order.

4. In the meantime, the petitioner must have been retired as at the time of filing the present Writ Petition he was 49 years old in the year 2000 and now he has already reached the age of retirement. Hence, the cause of action seems to be nor surviving anymore.

5. In view of such submission, this writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
