This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Perused Letter No.71 dated 7th February, 2024 of learned Senior Civil Judge-cum- Assistant Sessions Judge, Jajpur Road seeking extension of time to dispose of CS No.36 of 2010. 3.

As it appears, it is the third occasion, learned Senior Civil Judge, Jajpur Road is asking for extension of time for disposal of the suit. Vide order dated 6th May, 2022 passed in the CMP, this Court directed for disposal of the suit within one year from the date of communication of the order. In the meantime, almost two years have already elapsed. On previous occasions, request of learned trial Court for extension of time for disposal of the suit was entertained and time for disposal of the suit was extended, but as yet, the same has not been disposed of. It further appears that learned trial Court by virtue of the aforesaid letter has sought for time till 2nd quarter of 2024 for disposal of the suit. 4.

It is thus directed that learned trial Court should make all endeavours to see that the suit is disposed of an early date without granting any unnecessary adjournments. As requested,
