The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) To admit the writ petition and calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause as to why the impugned charge memo dtd. 3.6.2017 vide enquiry report dtd.6.4.18 and the punishment order dtd.21.10.2019 under Annexure-1, 4 and 7 respectively shall not be quashed and as to why the financial benefits like increment and revised salaries shall not be paid to the petitioner on the event of quashing of the impugned orders".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 05.01.2020 at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
