Heard Mr.M.K.Rath, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.Ch.S.Mishra, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 2.
According to Mr.Rath, the petitioners are aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in extending the benefits under the Odisha Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006 to which they are entitled to despite several approaches. He further submits that though they have been paid the compensation amount for acquisition of their lands but the benefits under the above policy have not been extended to them. Though highlighting the grievances, the petitioners have approached the Revenue Divisional Commissioner-cum-Chairman, RPDAC Committee, Sundargarh (opposite party No.2) on 24.12.2021 under Annexure-4 by filing a representation, but till date nothing has been done. In such background, he prays that a direction may be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specified time period.

Considering such submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the
// 2 // Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate result of such exercise to petitioner No.3 who in turn is directed to share such information with other petitioners.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
