This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The Petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer :

"In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances as narrated above, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court be graciously be pleased to admit the Writ Petition and issue Rule Nisi for any other appropriate Writs against the Opp.parties calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why the Petitioner shall not be allowed grade pay of Rs.5400/- as 3rd RACP and consequent pay revision under ORSP Rules, 2017;

And, if the Opp. Parties failed to show cause or show insufficient cause, make the said rule absolute by directing the opposite parties to allow the petitioner grade pay of Rs.5400/- as 3rd RACP and consequent pay revision under ORSP Rules, 2017.

And/or issue any other appropriate Writ/Writs, order/orders, direction/directions as deem fit and proper in the fitness of the case."

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation ventilating his grievance before the Divisional Forest Officer, Keonjhar Forest Division-Opposite Party No.4 which may be considered within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law. 5.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection if permission is granted to the Petitioner to file the representation before the Opposite Party No.4 and the same is considered and disposed of in accordance with law. 6.

In view of the aforesaid limited nature of grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition granting liberty to the Petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Divisional Forest Officer, Keonjhar Forest Division-Opposite Party No.4 ventilating his grievance within a period of two weeks. If such a representation is filed within the time stipulated, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the said Opposite Party No.4 in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter and the decision so taken on the representation of the petitioner shall be communicated within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation the writ application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
