1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the file is still with the previous counsel and has not been collected from him. Learned counsel for the Opposite Party states that he is no aware whether the Opposite Party is still around.

2. In the circumstances, keeping the present petition, which is over 12 years old, pending would serve no purpose. While dismissing the petition and vacating the interim order, the Court permits the Petitioner to revive the writ petition, If the cause of action survives and the file is able to be located by the counsel.
