Mr. S.S. Kanungo, learned Addl. Government Advocate, based on the instruction which he has received from the IIC, Orkel police station, Malkangiri, has stated that the victim girl has been rescued, her statement under Section 161 as well as under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C have been recorded. The custody of the victim has been restored to her parents.

Mr. S.R. Das, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that for the said the proceeding has become infructuous. 4.
Accordingly, this proceeding stands closed and disposed of as infructuous.
