Heard Mr. T.K. Satapathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. T. Pattnaik, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to extend the time limit for completion of work as per letter of intent dated 05.01.2022 and to re-consider the value of contract price. He further seeks direction to the opposite parties to dispose of its representation vide Annexure-1 series within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made representation before the opposite party no.3-General Manager (TE-Civil), SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant vide Annexure-1 series, and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time.

Considering the contention raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the writ petition directing opposite party

no.3 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Alok/Puspa Annexure-1 series in terms of clause 17.1 of the General terms and conditions of the contract and clause 5.0 of the special terms and conditions and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy this order.
